The Purple Haze Sowbug is tied with a UV-light reflecting dubbing.  When wet and in the sunshine it gives off a purple glow.  I'm not sure how the fish see UV light, but they eat this thing up.  This is my go to sowbug over tan bottomed sections of river on a sunny day.
